I've run the gamut of diet books and programs over 30 years, losing and
regaining the same pounds while always being at war with my body.
My response to any stressful situation was to grab sweet or sugary
snacks or greasy fast food to numb my feelings. After attending the Eating with Love seminar and Six Series Tele-class, I experienced a difficult trip to LA. Stranded in the Denver airport overnight, getting into a major car accident, and taking 20 hours and four flights to get back to Miami, I arrived home to find my
computer inoperative. AMAZINGLY, not once did I think that food would
solve my problems. Passing Chicago deep dish pizza booths and
Philadelphia pretzel booths, I used deep breathing to calm myself and
ate consciously and with true enjoyment. What a relief to not add
weight gain to my list of difficulties.
